Review by hotel critic
Stepping into Hotellerie Du Bas-Breau, I was transported to a secluded oasis of comfort and tranquility on the outskirts of Fontainebleau forest. The elegantly furnished rooms, featuring jetted bathtubs and premium bedding, provided a luxurious retreat after a day of exploring the unmissable museums and captivating surroundings. Our stay was enhanced by the gourmet cuisine served in elegant crystal and silverware, a true delight for the senses. Although the restaurant's offerings were a bit underwhelming, we found solace in local eateries nearby that offered a more satisfying dining experience. The chance to unwind by the pool, surrounded by trees and colorful flower beds, was a highlight. The hotel's recreational facilities, including a golf course, outdoor pool, and spa, offered a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure for our city trip.Hotellerie Du Bas-Breau's idyllic setting and attentive staff made our short stay memorable, leaving us yearning for more time to savor the beauty and tranquility of this hidden gem in the French Alps.
